Stars Pre-School Parnwell Newsletter: April 2022

Hello, everyone, 😊

Welcome back, we hope you all had a lovely Easter break. Welcome to all our new families with their little ones doing settling sessions. I am sure they will have a great journey here with us at Parnwell.

A new welcome also to our new apprentice, Lottie. She will be working with us full time whilst studying to complete her level 3.

GENTLE REMINDERS:

Children are required to bring a sun hat in, even if it is cloudy. They must also come in wearing sunscreen. Staff will ask parents for this on the door and if your child doesn’t have these then they will not be able to come in until they do. Our duty is to safeguard the children at all times, and we are expecting some hot weather and wouldn’t want anyone to be burnt.

Children must also wear full shoes covering their toes to protect them from the bricks outside. A full t-shirt must be worn with no shoulders exposed to ensure these don’t burn. Please see the NHS guidelines on Sun Safety.

Water bottles must be brought in daily so we can ensure children are drinking plenty of fluids.

Please make sure your child has a change of clothes as there will be a lot of water and messy play planned

  • CORE STORY

Our Core story this term is the ‘The Tiger Who Came To Tea’. This was requested by one of the children. We are really hoping for a trip to the zoo at the end of the Summer term so this story will be a great talking point!

If you have these stories at home, why not read them to your child this month?
