Stars Pre-School Welland

Stars Pre-School Welland has been providing young children with a safe, fun and educationally enriching environment since 1998. Open to children between the ages of two – five, every one of the 55 children we welcome to Stars Pre-School Welland each year is valued as a unique individual, and is encouraged to learn through play and interaction. We’ve been recognised as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted showcasing our modern nursery and diverse array of facilities to ensure children feel welcome.

With our modern nursery in Peterborough, we take great pride in providing a warm, nurturing environment where children can thrive and grow. Our passionate, highly-trained staff have an aptitude for creating a safe, secure atmosphere where children feel comfortable expressing themselves, building confidence, and connecting with other children.

We prepare children for their next steps in learning and help them become happy, confident, creative, sociable and enthusiastic learners.

There are a variety of sessions available for children to attend between 8am and 6pm, and we can put in place flexible arrangements to ensure children make the most of the 30 hours of funding available.

Our Curriculum

Our passionate and dedicated team operates using the unique ASPIRE curriculum. Created by us and tailored to the needs of the communities in which we operate, the curriculum ensures we adhere to DfE’s Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Guidance and give local children the best possible start to education.

There are five key pillars to our ASPIRE framework: Learn, Achieve, Protect, Develop and Be Ready.

Focusing on these crucial areas allows us to prepare your child for the next stage of their journey in education, and lay the foundation for their future development. The goal is to encourage children to become confident, positive and curious individuals, with each child being assigned a regular point of contact who will work closely with them to ensure their continued development.

We value input from parents immensely as well; feedback is welcomed, and we aim to work closely with you at every step of the way.

We liaise closely with parents to foster a strong partnership, linking with the community to offer children a well-rounded and effective start to their journey in education.
