The Woodlands Day Nursery and Pre-school is a home from home setting for your child to develop into confident, independent and curious individuals. We want to ensure that our children become caring and resourceful members of society with family values and community being at the heart of what we do! Our latest Ofsted rating is ‘Good’ something we are proud of ensuring we provide awe & wonder for the children everyday.
We were established over 30 years ago and we pride ourselves on being an integral part of the early education of local children. However, we also take pride in offering support for all our families. Our aim is to give back to the community through our links with local care homes, schools and businesses.
At The Woodlands Nursery and Pre-school, we have 36 places available to children aged between 6 weeks and 8 years old. We are open for 50 weeks of the year, where we are open from 8 am to 5:30 pm.

Our environment has plenty of resources to promote a love for learning and is all delivered through exploratory play. We are situated in Woodhall Spa, more specifically in the Old Chapel on Mill Lane which is submersed in history and culture. The building itself is full of charm and charisma!

Lauren
Hi, I am Lauren, the manager of The Woodlands Stars Day Nursery. I started my journey at The Woodlands as an apprentice back in 2014, I studied my Level 2 and 3 Diploma in Children’s Learning and Development. I have worked my way from qualifying as an educator to a room leader, and then becoming a manager of the setting. I love working in childcare because no two days are the same and creating memories with our little people is a one-in-a-million job to have.
