Our Aspirational Curriculum
In addition to our excellent indoor and outdoor facilities and ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted grading, another standout aspect of Stars Pre-School Dogsthorpe is the ASPIRE curriculum, unique to Stars Day Nurseries.
Developed by us specifically to meet the needs of children in the local area, ASPIRE meets DfE’s Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Guidance and allows us to provide from 9 months of age with the perfect first step in their journey through education.
The ASPIRE framework comprises five key pillars: Learn, Achieve, Protect, Develop and Be Ready.
Our team focuses on these crucial aspects, allowing them to thoroughly prepare your child for what lies ahead – both in education and in life as a whole. Our aim is for children in our care to blossom into confident, positive and curious individuals; we take this goal seriously, assigning each child a regular point of contact who will work particularly closely with them and offer guidance and support.
We always strive to involve parents at every stage of their child’s journey: working together is the best way to ensure your child’s continued development and prepare them for the transition to primary school.
For more information on our ASPIRE curriculum and what it contains, read our information booklet online or contact our day nursery in Peterborough.
