Our Aspirational Curriculum

Our unique Stars Day curriculum focuses on five key elements that contribute to the healthy development of any child. These include:

  • Learn – We aspire for our children to learn about themselves, their communities and the environment
  • Achieve – We want our children to achieve through Early Intervention and Inclusion, through learning language for life, and through early teaching experiences. This is a big contributor to preparing them for primary school.
  • Protect – To achieve this we make sure that our policies, procedures and multi-agency work are focused on the protection of the children in our care.
  • Develop – We aspire to develop our children through a commitment to our staff teams of monitoring performance, providing training and development opportunities, supporting wellbeing and in recognising quality practice and teaching.
  • Be ready for the next life stages – We’ll ensure your child is confident to move onto the next step, we achieve this by supporting independence, teaching them valuable life skills and developing confidence within themselves and their abilities
